Palác Špork
Description
Palac Špork is located in Prague’s city-centre, close to the Powder Tower and Municipal House. The building connects Hybernská Street and V Celnici Street but is pleasantly offset from the main tourist zone. Hybernská Street connects to the Na Příkopě pedestrian area and with it an area with a range of excellent restaurants, cafés, shops and shopping centres. Around the corner from Palác Špork are the Náměstí Republiky metro station, a tram stops and Masaryk Railway Station, which offers easy connections to the farthest reaches of Prague. A great advantage of the location is easy accessibility by car and a direct connection to the Prague Inner Ring.
Location and access
Palác Špork represents a historical bank building by architect Josef Gočár. Building is adapted for offices of the 21st century while preserving the genius loci. The palace consists of two buildings with a total of 7 above-ground and 3 underground floors. The above-ground floors offer 6,600 sqm of office space, with 2 large-capacity restaurants on the ground floor and underground floors, covering almost 3,000 sqm.
